5th Annual Help Willy’s Friends Pet Fair ‘Willy Award’

Congratulations to Helping Hands For Wildlife for winning the 5th Annual ‘Willy Award’. This award was the result of the many generous contributions from all exhibitors and attendees participating in the Help Willy’s Friends Pet Fair held on May 19th, 2013 at the Coginchaug Regional High School. To apply for the award, Shelters and Rescues were asked to write a short essay explaining how the monetary donation would be best utilized at their facility if awarded. We applaud all of the participating organizations and extend special congratulations to Helping Hands For Wildlife who won $2,500.00 for first place. Second place was awarded to No Animal Left Unfed who collected $1,000.00 and a $500.00 third place prize was granted to Meriden Animal Control. Many thanks to all who had entered this contest.
